What's with the trolley and Fastshop name??
Fastshop was born as an e-commerce platform that facilitated the sale of fast moving consumer goods at bargain prices. Selling a wide range of imported goods from virtual pets to mobile phones and all the accessories, the philosophy was to provide the best prices, responsive customer service and next day delivery - It's online store was also used by FastSellers (businesses who also believed in doing business in the fast lane) who sold their own stock using the Fastshop platform.
Although the business has diversified - we still believe in the same user orientated model - delivering value adding solutions in real time.
Gerard has a background in commerce and law with experience in business and professional services. Having run an online business as well as delving into retail trade, he brings his business acumen and entrepreneurial flair to drive business strategies. Gerard has an intimate understanding of the industries that our ventures touch and has a passion for fusing technology and challenging the way things are done.
David comes from a visual communications background and has experience as creative director of a leading Digital Agency. He brings to Fastshop his creativity and understanding of interactive design to really ‘make life online easier’ for our users. By utilising his web talents and user-based design, he effectively creates solutions for life’s large & small problems.
